Terms & Conditions

Medical, care and consultation-related information and treatment services

Effective date: 25 September 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern access to, use of and interaction with our website, appointment forms, teleconsultation, administrative communications and patient services made available by Candrol Centre of Oncology (“Candrol”, “Clinic”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The terms apply to the content, services, medical and administrative information and related interactions provided through the website or communications with Candrol.

All information, responses, educational material, social-media content, videos, web-based materials and communications are provided for general awareness and administrative purposes and are not emergency services or substitutes for individualised diagnosis, hands-on examination or treatment by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. A professional opinion given after review will be necessarily dependent upon the information reasonably available at that time.

The patient or person acting with lawful authority on the patient’s behalf is responsible for supplying complete, accurate, current and legible information concerning diagnoses, pathology, imaging, medical history, medicines, allergies, consultations, symptoms, relevant circumstances and material changes in condition. Candrol is entitled to rely reasonably upon information supplied to it. The maximum extent permitted by law, Candrol shall not be responsible for consequences caused solely by materiality, delay, incompleteness, concealment, altered or withheld information, unauthorised alteration of another person’s information, or failure to communicate a material change that could reasonably affect clinical judgment.

Treatment or medical care shall be facilitated in accordance with professional medical standards and clinical judgment. Candrol may require an in-person consultation or local assessment where clinically appropriate. Treatment, advice and telephone communications are not continuous monitoring and emergency services. In an emergency or urgent deterioration, the patient must contact emergency services or the treating hospital.

The patient must not stop, delay, abandon or materially alter ongoing treatment, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, supportive or palliative care, or other prescribed treatment solely because Candrol is being consulted or used. Material treatment decisions should be discussed with the relevant treating clinician or oncologist team.

Any treatment, procedure or transaction is subject to the consultation, enquiry, supply, payment, invoice, treatment plan and other documents or terms made available by Candrol. Before treatment payment, the patient or authorised representative must ensure that the relevant terms, quotations and instructions are understood and accepted.
